Earlier this month in The Integrated Arts (T.I.A) we made
haunted houses out of clay for Halloween, with artist, Lynne Mulvihill. We started by making our
clay into a shape that looked like a house, then we added scraps of clay for
porches, window frames and more. Next we let them dry for a couple of days. Today
we went back to
paint our houses with colour glazes like orange, black, grey, white and other spooky
colours. We went through a lot of paint brushes! Lynne is going to fire our painted haunted houses in the kiln, and return them to us next week.
Our class really had fun doing this project!
